Wanting to help someone doesn’t require you to establish an organization, it doesn’t require an endorsement or social media validation.  It only requires you to get up and start helping.  There is no application process and in the famous words of Nike, “Just Do It!”.  “Helping isn’t simply donating.  For some, it can be raising awareness; for others it can be attending a protest, or getting your hands dirty on the front line.  Everyone has their own definition of what it means to help, and that’s OK.  The myriad of tasks all makes an impact.”

Some of us want to help save the rainforest while others want to ensure children have clean drinking water.  Some of us want to help save the whales while others want to end violence against women.  The bottom line is merely this, whatever cause touches you, do it up.  And no, it doesn’t have to stop there.  I love helping my family and friends whenever and wherever I possibly can, even at bare minimum if that means just lending an ear or sharing a smile.  Whatever causes you choose to support just promise me that you will explore it first.  There are plenty of scams that love to exploit the suffering of others for profit (makes me sick).  It never has to be grand, and you don’t need to make a public announcement nor expect anything in return.  Let’s just all help each other, heck we need it.

  We all have expectations and I would be delusional to think that I didn’t.  Can you imagine a life without expectations?  I still have expectations of people, personally and professionally, and both still tend to let me down.  “Blame and power go hand in hand, so giving it away ,any not be the best choice”.   I, like you, have been deeply hurt by people in my past.  “Within that pain are jewels of wisdom that can put you in a position not the repeat the same foibles.  Our heart is very resilient, and it will survive even when someone steps all over it”.  If you’re anything like me, you know first hand that we can be overly dramatic, and we’re harming no one else but ourselves.  Learn from those mistakes so they don’t hopefully happen again, and again.  “Pay attention to actions over words, they’ll always be more revealing”.  No can shield you from the pain life brings, it’s actually essential to our well being.  We humans lea...
