Scratches and bruises add character.  They give your heart a better look and feel.  It can be a tough time, and it will be a tough time, but you just like me will come out a better person, I promise that.  Try not to stay in a situation your heart left a long time ago, it will only continually defeat your heart, not help it grow.

“Defining yourself is basically the idea of knowing who you are, what you stand for, what your identity is, what rules you stand by, and so on. This could be morals you live by, what you define as integrity, how important your word is to you, what you consider to be good and bad things, your beliefs and more.”

“Don’t avoid the potential of a broken heart, you have the necessary tools to survive and blossom from it.”

  We all have expectations and I would be delusional to think that I didn’t.  Can you imagine a life without expectations?  I still have expectations of people, personally and professionally, and both still tend to let me down.  “Blame and power go hand in hand, so giving it away ,any not be the best choice”.   I, like you, have been deeply hurt by people in my past.  “Within that pain are jewels of wisdom that can put you in a position not the repeat the same foibles.  Our heart is very resilient, and it will survive even when someone steps all over it”.  If you’re anything like me, you know first hand that we can be overly dramatic, and we’re harming no one else but ourselves.  Learn from those mistakes so they don’t hopefully happen again, and again.  “Pay attention to actions over words, they’ll always be more revealing”.  No can shield you from the pain life brings, it’s actually essential to our well being.  We humans lea...
