“101 Simple Truths For A Better Life” Humble The Poet (24) “I DON’T KNOW YOU”

 

Like most people probably reading this, I don’t know you, or at minimum on a true personal level.  What I can guarantee however is this.  You like myself have aspirations.  Getting a new place, making rent, owning a new car, and finally going on that dream vacation.  Whatever the aspirations are, the specifics and the entire actual dream is pointless if we don’t plan on pulling the trigger and making it happen.  We can all talk the talk, but can we walk the walk?

“We can do an awesome job sabotaging ourselves with excuses and reasons not to make things happen.  Sometimes we trick ourselves into thinking we’re going to make it happen soon.  Soon being starting tomorrow, next week, next month, once my kids are grown.  These abstract moments never arrive, but we feel like they will.”  In my experience so far on this life journey, one thing I’ve come to realize is we just need to shut up and start.  No procrastinations, just get started.  Whatever we are afraid of is far worse in our minds trust me.

We’re all unique, there will never be anyone like you on this Earth, ever.  So what are you and I going to accomplish and contribute during our limited time here?  Just start moving already, all those limitations and ideas of impossible will eventually fade.  If you’re anything like me, most of your progress will begin the moment you start believing in yourself more than anyone else.  No more excuses, it’s not going to be easy, let’s get it done.

“101 Simple Truths For A Better Life” Humble The Poet (40) “LESS EXPECTATIONS LESS DISAPPOINTMENTS”

  We all have expectations and I would be delusional to think that I didn’t.  Can you imagine a life without expectations?  I still have expectations of people, personally and professionally, and both still tend to let me down.  “Blame and power go hand in hand, so giving it away ,any not be the best choice”.   I, like you, have been deeply hurt by people in my past.  “Within that pain are jewels of wisdom that can put you in a position not the repeat the same foibles.  Our heart is very resilient, and it will survive even when someone steps all over it”.  If you’re anything like me, you know first hand that we can be overly dramatic, and we’re harming no one else but ourselves.  Learn from those mistakes so they don’t hopefully happen again, and again.  “Pay attention to actions over words, they’ll always be more revealing”.  No can shield you from the pain life brings, it’s actually essential to our well being.  We humans lea...
